MRI is a unique imaging modality for visualizing various tissues in great detail. However, in order to choose the proper technical factors from the numerous pulse sequences available for the most diagnostic study, it is essential that the referring provider be as specific as possible in describing the anatomical location and the nature of the suspected pathology. Detailed clinical information provided at the time of scheduling assures that the correct study will be performed. Each study is tailored to the needs of the individual patient.
On occasion, a doctor will hand a patient the written order and ask the patient to schedule the appointment themselves. The patient needs to contact our office to set up the appointment. Please note that Metro MRI does not accept walk-ins.
At the time of scheduling, the following information should be provided:
- Patient name, address, phone number
- Date of birth, social security number, and type of medical insurance
- Is this a workers compensation case? automobile accident? liability?
Metro MRI continues its dedication to provide the highest level in quality care and advanced technology to our referring doctors and their patients.
Offices may contact the Metro MRI Center office to receive MRI prescription pads and patient information brochures. If you need any further information or have any questions, please feel free to call.
